As if we needed confirmation (but it's always nice to get it), Friday night on MSNBC's Hardball, former White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan gave us the confirmation we've expected:
McClellan: Certainly there were commentators and other, pundits at FOX News, that were helpful to the White House, and certainly we got talking points to those people.
On Fox (or as I prefer to call them, Faux) News on Sunday morning, Liz Trotta, former New York bureau chief of the Washington Times, while commenting on the latest about Hillary Clinton's Robert F. Kennedy invocation, mixed up Osama bin Laden and Barack Obama. It's a familiar and one tends to wonder, perhaps intentional error frequently made by the GOP and its supporters. Beyond that however, her joke about "knocking off" Obama was over the top.
On Fox’s Live Desk, broadcast Wednesday, Fox had a "facial coding expert" analyze a preview of Hillary Clinton's Wednesday night appearance on The O'Reilly Factor.
Sunday morning on Fox News Sunday, Chris Wallace started the "Obama Watch."
Wallace said that Obama had agreed to appear on Fox News Sunday in March 2006, thus the "Watch," according to Wallace, will continue until Obama appears. The "Watch" started at 730 days, 13 hours, 53 minutes and 9 seconds and counting.
